IMPORTANT ISSUES

Ever notice any time a Republican runs for Congress, they try to convince you how Conservative they are? That’s great, but as soon as they get into office, they do nothing to actually FIGHT for you and this country. Chris is a proven fighter, an authentic Conservative, a man of his word.

Chris plans to propose immigration reform that supports the actions of the President and reflects what is in the best interests of the nation and the State of Texas.

His approach begins with calling for a moratorium on immigration until all illegal aliens are deported and the nation’s borders and coastlines are fully secured. Afterward, he advocates for a merit-based system that admits only the most qualified applicants, as was done in generations past. This aligns with the Constitution’s directive to promote the general welfare—meaning the welfare of the American people, not that of other nations.

He believes national defense is the primary responsibility of the federal government. Chris asserts that the United States must maintain an active-duty force capable of providing for the common defense of both the country and Texas. He suggests that reducing the overall end strength of the armed forces should be considered and argues that U.S. forces should be brought home to defend the homeland. He opposes nation-building, regime change, security operations abroad, and foreign wars, and contends that the War Powers Act should be reexamined to prevent the nation from entering war without congressional approval.

Chris will stand firm against any legislation that advances a globalist agenda. He believes such efforts often move gradually to avoid detection and says he will remain vigilant in opposing them. As an example, he cites the proposed “Ports to Plains” bill, which he claims aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal #9: Regional Integration. While the Trans-Texas Corridor was defeated years ago, he believes similar initiatives are reemerging.

He further argues that federal spending must be brought under control and that the national debt must be paid down, stating that it is immoral to pass irresponsible levels of debt to future generations. As a first step, he calls for eliminating unconstitutional federal spending.

Chris also believes the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) must become more efficient, particularly in serving rural areas. One approach he proposes is conducting a manpower survey to determine whether staffing and resources can be redistributed more effectively.

Overall, Texas needs representatives in Washington, D.C., who are willing to FIGHT for the people of the state. We just aren’t getting that now and if Democrats ever have the opportunity to retake any branch of our federal government, it becomes especially imperative that we have a fighter at the helm.
